These three similarly detailed Italianate houses in the beloved cube form are faithful in scale and materials to earlier houses on the street. The two-family Evans and Greene Houses take a position closer to the street, a more urban posture for a more urban type. The single-family Smith House, however, assumes a more suburban posture, set back from the street like its neighbors to the south.
